Laura needs a tech makeover because…
My partner, Christina, is a photography student and desperately needs a tech make over, so that she can succeed in school and share her vision with the world. She is in her late twenties and is finally following her dreams; unfortunately we don’t have the funds to allow her do it freely. Currently she is using a borrowed digital camera to shoot. She can only do her digital work on campus, which would be fine if she lived there, but being a non-traditional student, we live on the other side of town and she works evenings and both weekend days.
Her schedule doesn’t allow her much in the way of time to work at her own speed and let the creative juices flow or even free time. She works so hard and having the equipment she needs at home would help her succeed and maybe even give her a moment or two to relax.
I want to be able to give her everything she wants and needs, but I don’t have a way to give her the equipment, tuition has eaten away at the funds. If she had a computer to use with Photoshop and a printer on which to print her images, it would open up her world.
I think I would cry just knowing I helped her get one step closer to her dreams…

Yes, Christina would be a fabulous candidate for a tech makeover. She is a hard working girl and a great photographer. And she is my grandaughter, so that makes her the best choice.

Christina has worked so very very hard and is very ambitious. This would most definitely be a dream come true!!
